Ian McCarthy is a speaker, coach, and President of Blue Claw Associates Inc., a landscape & masonry contractor based in Southeastern Massachusetts.
With nearly 30 years of experience in business management, start-ups, small business accounting, CFO services, consulting, sales and marketing, Ian is uniquely positioned to provide strategic advice in all areas of running a business. His first career was Accounting, on Nantucket going back to 1993, and his first foray into the landscaping industry was in 1996. He is also the co-founder of the National Basketball League of Canada.
Ian launched Blue Claw Associates in 2018 and quickly grew the firm from $0 to $5+ million in sales in just three and a half years. Now projected to reach $10 million in sales, he decided to launch the Blue Claw Group – a boutique consulting firm to assist other contractors in their similar journey.
Ian is on a mission to help 1,000 contractors by the end of 2027 to know the numbers that make or break their profits.
