WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT Fernanda
“Fernanda is an incredibly skilled facilitator. Her knowledge of the developmental stages of teenagers combined with her facilitation skills makes for not only a tremendous learning experience, but an enjoyable one as well. In only a few sessions into the workshop ‘Radically Transform The Relationship With Your Adolescent – Understanding Their Brain And The Impact On Their Mind, Behavior, And Relationships,’ I already have been improving my relationship with my teenager. The understanding I’m getting from the workshop has been key to this change. It’s a miracle!”
— Adriana Medina, University Professor, Mother of a 14-year-old boy, Denver, CO.
“Fernanda’s gentle guidance and sound advice are improving our family dynamic. We are taking her “Radically transform the relationship with your adolescent – Understanding their Brain and the Impact on their Mind, Behavior, and Relationships” with a group of parents and it is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the teenage brain and collaborate as a group while being guided by Fernanda. Her life experience as a mother and a therapist is invaluable!”
— Keri Cole, Professional Tech Manager, Mother
“Fernanda has been a fundamental part of my personal growth and development since a couple of years ago. Working with a person like her, who has so much knowledge about teenagers, has allowed me to improve my relationship with myself on different levels. She really has helped me learn new techniques and tools to identify my emotions and understand how to handle them wisely. I am really happy to have someone so empathic and patient as a guide while learning more about myself!”
— Anali Paredes, Student
“I went to the psychologist Fernanda Medina on the recommendation of one of her colleagues. The expectations about the support I would receive in my situation at that time were exceeded. She has a wide knowledge and expertise in her profession, but what personally filled me with admiration for Dr. Fernanda is her great human quality in her treatment of the patient as a therapist. For me, it was companionship in a moment of deep grief; I learned to let emotions be part of me and let them out naturally. That it takes pain to know how to be happy, that it takes conflict to know how to find peace, and that it takes deep breathing to recognize that within ourselves are the tools to find comfort and help for what we feel. It is something that to this day I continue to put into practice in every situation of my life. In the therapies with the doctor, I was left with key lessons for coping with my emotional life and for that, I will always be grateful.”
