Harold Love served 25 years with the Michigan State Police before retiring as a Captain in 2013. He is now a national board certified, fully licensed professional counselor, specializing in psychological testing and assessments, critical incident stress management, mental health wellness consultation, diagnosis and treatment planning, and behavioral health education.
For the last 9 years, he has helped members of more than 40 law enforcement agencies effectively mitigate the cumulative effects of stress commonly associated with the law enforcement culture. Harold offers concrete steps to feeling good again, breaking down the stigma associated with mental health services and getting individuals re-engaged in their professional and personal lives. He helps enable people to serve their community, team, and family at their highest level – and most importantly, be the person their family loves and needs.
Harold is on a mission to support 10,000 emergency services organizations to help their team effectively mitigate stress and trauma to enhance effectiveness, morale, overall wellness, and longevity by 2032.
